Introduction - ITIC Europe Wire

Following the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union in 2020 and the conclusion of the transition period on 31st December 2020, ITIC put in place arrangements to provide service continuity to its policyholders for risks located in the EEA. ITIC Europe obtained regulatory approval from the Insurance Companies Control Service of the Cyprus Ministry of Finance in November 2023 and began underwriting on 14th February 2024.

Charlotte Kirk is the Chief Executive Officer of ITIC Europe, heading up a new team including an underwriter, senior claims executive and a Chief Financial Officer. The dedicated ITIC Europe team are based in in Limassol, Cyprus. The office address is: 4th floor, Kanika Ideal Court, Arch. Makarios III Avenue 214, Limassol, CY 3030, Cyprus.

In most cases, members and insurance brokers will continue to communicate with ITIC in London and ITIC will liaise with ITIC Europe on your behalf, although some of you will be seeing more of the ITIC Europe team.
