New building supervisors

New building supervision can often be an extension of the services provided by a ship manager. Some supervisors, however, operate independently, incorporating other supervisory services such as ship repairs or conversions.

ITIC covers both companies and individuals acting in a supervisory capacity on behalf of ship owners, while their ship is in a shipyard.
