Where were you working before you joined ITIC?
I was working at AET Tankers as a senior claims executive handling all types of claims an owner may face.

What are you looking forward to doing in your new role?
Having claims experience from a member’s perspective, I definitely look forward to assisting members from ITIC's side. Expanding claims handling with underwriting and marketing has been the major attraction to ITIC as it is a unique way of building a relationship with members.

What are your hobbies and favourite pastimes?
I vaguely remember enjoying skiing and hiking before the pandemic. I have been confined to playing the guitar at home for the past 18 months.

What is your favourite food?
Applying the desert island test to this question, it would have to be seafood in a Mediterranean or Japanese style.

What is your favourite film?
At the risk of not coming across as sophisticated, I have to admit the extended Lord Of The Rings trilogy is difficult to beat.

What is the last book you read or music you downloaded?
I am in the middle of Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes, which this question reminded me I should pick-up again and finish. The pandemic has exhausted my limits on solitary activities, but it is a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Any pet hates?
Nothing particular stands out, but if I had to choose one it would be having bad driving etiquette.
