A ship was fixed to load a cargo of peas. The ship agent produced all the necessary documentation for the shipment. Unfortunately, they described the cargo as “116 shipments of peas” instead of the 1160 shipments of peas the shippers had delivered.
The cargo manifests were inputted onto a port system 13 minutes past the deadline for 200 containers.

A ship agent, arranging for the export of a consignment of frozen turkeys, mistakenly notified the line’s reefer engineers that the cargo needed to be carried at a temperature of +13 deg. C. instead of -25 deg. C.. The mistake...
